The T-Check elbow brace can be worn following an injury, a surgical procedure on the elbow, in cases of stable or internally fixed fractures of the distal humerus or proximal to the mid radius or ulna, when blocked or limited motion control of the elbow is desired.
The elbow brace is equipped with an adjustable articulated splint for mobilization. When applying the brace to the arm, the padded upper and lower arm shells are individually adjusted with firm strap bands. With this brace and the additionally attached hand piece, immobilization of forearm rotation and a flexion/extension limitation at the elbow joint is achieved. Motion control of the elbow joint is provided by setting the flexion and extension from -10° to 110°.
